About

Many services begin with a shampoo at the Lather Lounge, a room with soft, dim lighting and soothing music. Every cutting service and every shampoo includes a 10-minute Lather Lounge shampoo experience, and it can also be booked on its own. Add-ons include a hot facial towel, a warm conditioning hand wrap, a cooling eye mask, a pressure point massage, a hot pad and a hot neck towel.

Color work uses the Davines color line, which the salon describes as award winning. Color services range from T zone and all-over color to foil, balayage and platinum card work, and prices do not include toners, haircuts or treatments. Haircut and blow out prices listed are for level 1 stylists, and the salon has four stylist levels with higher prices at higher levels.

The salon offers a one-time complimentary hair extension consultation with no pressure to buy. Extension options include I-tips, fusion, tape-ins, wefts, tape-in rows, toppers, and clip-in and crown extensions, and first installations are expected to run from $800 to $3,200. A non-refundable $500 deposit reserves an installation and is applied to the total, and payment plans are available with approval.

Brides can book bridal foil, color and styling services, and a wedding package is also offered. Brides sign a contract before appointments are reserved and book a practice appointment before the wedding day. Hair must be clean and dry for bridal services, or a blow dry style charge applies, and a card must be on file before a wedding party is scheduled. Wedding makeup pricing is available on request.

According to the salon, it aims for a relaxing, professional environment with kindness, teamwork and ongoing education, and it offers a quiz to match clients with a stylist based on hair goals, style and personality.
