Stephanie Z Hair works from The Style Lounge at 355 Carlsbad Village Dr., Suite 101, in downtown Carlsbad. Services are by appointment only, Tuesday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and there is on-site parking behind the building.

Each client is worked with one on one, with the aim of a personalized experience from start to finish. A visit opens with a warm welcome and a beverage, followed by a consultation. Before a first appointment, new clients complete a digital consultation, and the in-person consultation at the first visit looks at the condition of the hair and talks through short and long term goals, including how to care for and maintain it.

The services named on the salon's home page are personalized haircuts and styling, customized color and modern blonding. Visits also include a relaxing shampoo massage in a dedicated shampoo room, along with drinks, seasonal beverages and snacks.
