Stella's Room

Stella's Room is a permanent makeup studio in Lewisville, run as a collective of artists and technicians. Its founder and CEO, Carrie Hunt, also founded The Browtique. The studio says its mission is to help clients feel more confident and to help other artists build their businesses.

Brow work is a core service. The Signature Blended Brow was developed by Carrie Hunt with a focus on natural-looking results once healed. Brow appointments start with a consultation about the client's daily makeup routine and preferred shape, and a topical numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure. A touch-up is recommended 6-8 weeks after the first session. Clients who have had permanent makeup at another studio need a consultation or photo approval before booking, and corrections to older nano brows are possible if approved before the appointment.

The studio also offers areola restoration, a 3D tattoo procedure that replicates the areola and nipple for people who have had a mastectomy, total loss, or irregularity after breast reconstruction or augmentation. Sessions typically take 1.5 to 3 hours, and mild redness, sensitivity, scabbing or peeling is expected to settle within 7-10 days. Other services include lip blushing, fine line tattoos, tattooed freckles that can be customized in size, placement and intensity, and fibroblast skin tightening. Payment plans are available, including a Treat Now Pay Later option.

Stella's Room runs in-person and online courses for permanent makeup artists. Options include a 3-day brow course, a 2-day lip blush course, a 2-day fine line tattoo course, a 3D areola tattoo course for breast cancer survivors and post-surgical clients, a 2-day skin tightening course, a 5-day permanent makeup certification covering brows, lip blushing and eyeliner, online permanent makeup and skin tightening courses, and a business course for beauty professionals.
