Steadfast Oceanside

Steadfast Oceanside is a lash extension studio in Oceanside, founded and run by owner and lash artist Amanda Millard. The studio says it aims to be a space where women feel safe, seen and comfortable.

The menu centers on fills and full sets. A Classic Full Set applies one extension to each natural lash for a natural, mascara-like look and takes about 105 minutes for $170. A Textured Hybrid Full Set mixes full-volume fans with spiky, staggered lengths for more dimension, takes about 150 minutes and costs $200, and is designed around each client's eye shape and face.

Fills are timed to how much time has passed since the last visit. A Mini Fill ($35, about 30 minutes) covers small gaps for clients who were last in less than 10 days ago. The 60-Minute Fill ($85) suits about one to one and a half weeks since the last fill, the 75-Minute Fill ($100) about two weeks or early gaps, and the 90-Minute Fill ($120) about three weeks or heavier shedding. The 105-Minute Fill ($135) is for more than 50% lash loss, retention problems, or three or more weeks since the last appointment. Fills are recommended every two to three weeks.

Fills can also be booked over another artist's work. A removal and full set may be needed if the existing set cannot be saved. Lash extension removal uses a professional remover, takes about 35 minutes and costs $40.

New clients pay a $50 deposit. A non-refundable deposit may be required to hold an appointment, and it counts toward the total. Clients are asked to arrive on time, since arriving more than 10 minutes late may shorten or reschedule the visit, and to come with clean lashes free of makeup, oils and strip lash glue. Cancellations and rescheduling need 24 hours' notice, and no-shows or same-day cancellations may be charged up to the full service price. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Issues with work are addressed if reported within 72 hours of the appointment.
