Rooted Reflections

Rooted Reflections is a salon suite collective and online esthetician education business at 1930 S. Coast Hwy in South Oceanside. Brittany founded it to connect esthetician education with a supportive salon environment, and the space now houses a collective of 12 independent beauty and wellness professionals, each running their own business.

Hair, sugaring, waxing, lash extensions, lash lifts, facials, brow laminations and nails are all offered across the collective. Brittany's own services are grouped as brows, lashes, facials and consultations, and include microblading, brow lamination, lash extensions and lash and brow bundles.

Consultations are available for clients who are unsure which facial suits their needs, or who are hesitant about microblading or were microbladed before and want to check candidacy. Consultations carry a $15 credit card hold that is charged only for no-shows or late cancellations. Microblading is done with topical numbing cream applied before and during the procedure. Lash extensions are not filled if another artist applied them, so removal is required first.

Hours are Tuesday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, Wednesday 10:00 am to 4:45 pm, Thursday 10:00 am to 4:15 pm and Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The suite is closed Saturday through Monday.

Education is the other half of the business. Online esthetics courses include Customized Facial, Dermaplane Pro Essentials, Brow Lamination, Korean Lash Lift and a combined Lash and Brow Bundle, and there are free offerings in Brow Mapping 101 and a Guide to Esthetics mini-course. The business says its courses aim to raise standards in esthetic practice and promote safety and excellence. It describes itself as Oceanside's top-rated brow expert and number one brow studio, and as having top-rated lash experts and the number one lash studio in Oceanside.
