Color is a main focus. Balayage paints color on to brighten and blend into the natural shade, while foilyage uses foils to lift the natural color for more contrast. Classic highlights can range from a face frame to a full head of dimensional foils. Other options include color correction for color that has gone wrong, single application for going slightly darker or covering gray all over, double application as a root melt from tip to ends, global bleach that lightens from root to tip, and root touch ups for gray at the roots.

Haircuts cover shape maintenance cuts, bang or neck trims, and dry cuts. Transformation cuts make larger shape or length changes to an existing cut and are booked as a two-hour service. Haircut specialties include razor cut shags, precision cut layers and defined curly shapes. The salon says its haircuts are for everyone. A haircut can be added to a color appointment by requesting extra time.

Visits are by appointment only. The space is calming, with free parking in the front and back lots and the front entrance facing Koenig Lane. Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours are charged 50% to the card on file, and a no-show or extremely late arrival is charged the full scheduled service. Gratuity is accepted, and each stylist sets their own prices.

The salon will work with clients who have allergies or sensitivities, depending on their needs, and asks clients to contact their stylist in advance. It works with independent educators and other local salons to host hair education classes, which the salon describes as the finest hair education in Austin.

Eco-conscious and low toxic, using non-toxic style lines and a DDP-free color line, with product lists the salon says are transparent.
