SPORT CRYO

Sport Cryo provides cryotherapy and compression recovery in the Phoenix area, with locations in North Phoenix and North Scottsdale. Its clients range from elite athletes and weekend athletes to people managing chronic pain.

Whole body cryotherapy is done standing in a cylindrical chamber, where air chilled by liquid nitrogen brings the temperature down to very low levels. A session lasts about 3 minutes. The business says whole body sessions help reduce inflammation, swelling and congestion, and that they may help with sleep patterns.

Spot cryotherapy directs a controlled beam of vaporized, hyper-cooled liquid nitrogen at a specific area, such as a knee, shoulder, wrist, ankle, finger or the neck. Sessions run 5 to 10 minutes depending on the area. The business describes the treatment as painless and non-invasive.

Compression therapy uses NormaTec Pulse technology, which applies dynamic compression to move fluid out of the limbs. It is offered for workout recovery before and after training, injury recovery and post-surgery rehab. The business also offers it for slow-healing wounds, lymphedema, varicose veins and circulation-related swelling in the limbs.

Cryo facials pass a controlled vapor of pressurized liquid nitrogen over the scalp, face, neck and decolletage. The business uses them for chronic skin concerns, for recovery and inflammation, and after aesthetic procedures such as injections, IPL and microneedling.

The business describes its cryotherapy as a non-invasive treatment that uses liquid nitrogen to lower skin temperature.
