Pricing is charged by the hour of time booked, with no hidden fees or add-ons, and it is not based on gender. The studio is gratuity-free. Appointments begin at the booked time rather than on arrival, and clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule. Changes made with less than 48 hours notice carry a non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the service total, while same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged the full service total. Half of a same-day cancellation fee may be credited toward a future visit if rebooked within a reasonable time. New clients complete a new client form on the Square site before booking certain services.
The studio describes itself as gender-free and a safe space for self-expression. Its approach centers on working with the natural texture of each client's hair rather than against it. Cuts combine razor cutting and dry cutting, and the styles offered include lived-in cuts, textured cuts, shags, bobs and mullets. Color options range from lived-in and creative color and subtle dimensional shifts to bold color, balayage and color blocking.
Color appointments are scheduled in blocks of time, from a single process color to a six hour creative color session that requires a consultation first. A color consultation is free and takes 30 minutes. Clients with an extensive chemical hair history can book a test strand for $15. Because appointments can need more time than booked, any such need is discussed during the consultation.
