The spa is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 8 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Appointments can be booked online or by calling 952.236.4242. First-time guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to complete a short intake. Before a treatment, guests can wait in the Retreat Room in a warm robe. Amenities include aromatherapy, a choice of music, stone-floored showers, spa robes and sandals, and a selection of teas. The brand describes its spas as candlelit and quiet, with low light and a lounge.

Facials and skin care are personalized by licensed estheticians. The consultation before a facial shapes the treatment around the guest's needs, comfort and areas of concern. Facials run 40 to 70 minutes and peels run 30 or 50 minutes. Some facials are finished with a dry mineral sunscreen that the spa says is approved by the Skin Cancer Foundation, and some use certified organic ingredients, according to the site. First-time peels require a 5-minute patch test 24 hours before the appointment.

Massage is offered in 60, 80 or 100 minute sessions, and maternity massage is available in 60 or 80 minutes for expectant mothers in their second and third trimesters, in place of the signature massage. Salt stone massage uses hand-carved Himalayan salt stones, which the spa says contain 84 minerals. Couples can book side-by-side signature massages by phone, and the couples session can be upgraded to deep tissue, salt stone or sports massage with upgraded pricing by phone. Traveling chair massage is provided at an office or workplace and includes an upper-body massage; it is listed on the menu without a price. Massage therapists are licensed.

Body treatments include Fijian hand or foot polish, a Fijian warm-oil scalp treatment, an Island Bliss hand or foot treatment with a vitamin-rich body butter, a full-body sugar scrub in coconut, guava or orange blossom, and three wraps. Beauty services include lash lifts, brow laminations, semi-permanent brow and lash tints, and sun-kissed spray tans. Waxing is offered for men and women and performed by licensed estheticians. Halotherapy is offered as a quiet, private session in a salt room with an infrared sauna and chromatherapy, in 20 or 40 minute sessions. The spa describes halotherapy as a wellness experience rather than a medical treatment.

Spa packages bundle services for a longer visit: Relax (2 hours, $278) with a signature massage and a classic refresh facial; Recenter (2.5 to 3 hours, $369); Renew (3.5 hours, $459); and Rejuvenate (4 hours, $549). Recenter, Renew and Rejuvenate are not available to expectant mothers. Gift cards can be bought in any amount or as a full package, are emailed right away, and can be redeemed at any Spavia location. Spalebrations are group events for parties of four or more, such as bridal parties, birthdays, baby showers and work retreats, and are booked by calling the spa.
