SPA FACES

Brenda Barnes, a cosmetologist, opened SPA FACES in 2008. The spa is on E Main Street in Uniontown and serves that town and the communities around it. The team includes cosmetologists, a massage therapist and a nail tech.

Treatments include facials, massage, manicures, pedicures, waxing, spray tanning, lash lift and tint, brow tinting and brow lamination. Appointments are booked through the Vagaro app or the Book Now tab on the website, and the Vagaro waitlist notifies clients when a slot opens. New clients, and anyone who has not visited in a while, are asked to complete online intake forms before a visit for massage, facials, manicures and pedicures, spray tans, and lash and brow services. Hours are by appointment: Tuesday through Thursday 9 AM to 7 PM, Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, Saturday 8 AM to 2 PM, closed Sunday and Monday. Tips are optional and not included in service prices.

Packages are priced per person unless noted. The Mom & Me Package is $125 per person, $250 total, with traditional manicures and pedicures, massages and facials, and can be upgraded to gel polish for $20 more. Your Time to Shine is $125 and includes a deluxe body scrub with body wrap and a radiant facial. Girl's Night Out is $99 per person with a minimum of four guests, includes a traditional manicure and pedicure, a 25-minute personalized facial and a 15-minute head, neck and shoulder massage, and requires a call in advance to secure a date. Bridal Bliss is $135 and includes a 60-minute signature massage and an Extreme Antioxidant facial. Girls Just Want to Have Fun is a $110 per person bridal package. A pre-wedding nail party is $55 per guest for manicures and pedicures, with a group rate for 4 to 12 guests and a $75 facility fee for groups under 8. A 20% gratuity is added to all parties and packages. Prices may change without prior notice.

Children's and group parties are offered in three themed packages: the Princess Tea Party for $200, the Beach Party for $250, and the Deluxe Spa Party for $300. Each runs for two hours and holds up to 10 girls under 16. Party invitations and treat bags are included, and guests may bring their own cake, cupcakes and food into the party room. Extra crafts or additional time cost extra. A contract and deposit are needed to book any themed or custom party.

The boutique and online shop sell natural and organic products, including the spa's own SPA FACES Extreme Antioxidants skincare line. Other brands stocked include ZOYA, Morgan Taylor, Body Drench, QTICA, Cuccio, Grande Lash MD, Ardell and Farmhouse Fresh. Gift certificates can be bought, including instant certificates ordered online. Customers can pay with cash, checks, credit cards or SPA FACES gift certificates.
