Spa Botanicals is a skincare and beauty business at 1274 Center Court Drive, Suite 110, in Covina, California. The salon describes itself as natural luxury skincare and says true beauty comes from healthy, nourished skin and from artistry that enhances natural features rather than covering them up. Melissa Long founded the business, and Nikki Garcia leads the esthetics team.

The facial menu starts with a Custom Signature Facial, a 45-minute personalized treatment that includes deep cleansing, exfoliation, Gua Sha, extractions, massage, a mask and hydration. Other facials include a 45-minute microdermabrasion using a diamond-tip wand, an H2O Fusion Advanced Facial that combines multiple hydration and extraction steps with vacuum technology, and Ultra Soothing Dermaplaning, which removes the top layer of dead skin and vellus hair with a scalpel. The Oxygen Elixir Healing Facial is a 45-minute treatment the salon lists for acne, rosacea, broken capillaries and aging skin. Chemical peels run in 45-minute sessions, including Sorella Brightening, Clear Skin and Healthy Aging peels and a Circadia MandeliClear peel. A seasonal Purifying Pumpkin Peel, an enzyme and fruit acid treatment, is offered for the face and back. ProCell Therapies are priced at $250 for face and neck, $290 for face, neck and chest, and $260 for scalp hair regeneration, with each session lasting 50 minutes. Micro Sculpting uses Blue Onyx microcurrent in a 40-minute non-invasive lifting treatment; according to the salon, most clients notice improvement after three to four sessions.

Hair removal is done by waxing or threading. Body options include underarm, full or Brazilian bikini, bikini, full arm, full leg and back. Facial options include eyebrow shaping, lip, chin, full face, cheek or sideburn, and nose. Results typically last three to six weeks, and clients are advised to book every three to six weeks. For waxing, hair should be at least a quarter inch long, and retinoids or acids should be avoided for 48 hours beforehand. Clients using retinoids are asked to stop for five to seven days before waxing, and clients who have taken Accutane are advised not to wax and may thread instead. Lash services include Korean Lash Lifts, which take about 40 minutes and last six to eight weeks, brow and lash tinting with semi-permanent dye, and individually applied Classic and Hybrid lash extensions with touch-ups every three to four weeks.

Permanent makeup covers Nano Blading brows, Powder and Ombré Brows, Lip Blushing and Eyeliner Tattooing in lash line, classic and winged styles. Each procedure includes a complimentary touch-up six to eight weeks later, and the salon uses single-use sterile needles. According to the salon, results last about one to four years depending on technique. Free consultations are offered for permanent makeup and scalp micropigmentation. Scalp micropigmentation is offered for women, as grain-like density, part-line enhancement and crown coverage, and for men, as full scalp or hairline work. Sessions typically last two to four hours, with two or three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart and touch-ups every three to five years. Booking requires 24 hours' notice for cancellations, and a no-show fee of 100% of the scheduled service applies. Hours are Tuesday and Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and Wednesday through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with Monday and Sunday closed. Gift cards can be purchased by email.
