Renters pay one weekly fee that includes utilities and Wi-Fi, and can set their own schedule with 24/7 access, which varies by location.

Renters can decorate their suite with their own artwork, music, furniture and decor. They can choose which brands and products to carry and sell, and keep 100% of the profits. Liability insurance is included, and disability insurance is available in certain areas. Sola provides a start-up manual covering checklists, licensing and permit guidance, studio setup details and credit card processing tips. The company also hosts community gatherings such as cocktail parties and family picnics. Clients book services online through the Sola booking site. Sola states that it is not responsible for the operations, employment and personnel matters of franchise owners or independent salon professionals and businesses.
