Sola Salons is a company that rents private salon suites, called studios, to independent beauty and wellness professionals. The Moorestown location is at 220 Young Avenue, inside the Moorestown Commons Shopping Center. The company says it has more than 750 locations nationwide and over 20,000 independent professionals in its community. Each location is independently owned and operated, and each professional or business in a studio is independently owned.

Renters pay one weekly fee that covers utilities and Wi-Fi. Each suite includes a styling chair and a shampoo bowl, a glass door with its own individual lock and key, and full-spectrum lighting. Renters have 24/7 access, with hours that vary by location. The building offers instant hot water, on-site laundry, a breakroom, bathroom facilities, janitorial service and security.

Renters choose and sell the brands and products they want and keep all of the profits. They can get liability insurance and, in certain areas, disability insurance. Renters also receive retail discounts, special offers for online scheduling, and access to continuing education programs and industry events. A start-up manual covers the forms for salon and other licenses and permits, studio setup, insurance, equipment, credit card processing and retail distributor contacts.

The company hosts community events for renters, such as cocktail parties and family picnics.
