Soft Esthetics By Jen is run by owner and lash artist Jen, a licensed esthetician, from a suite inside Hive Salon Studios on Highpoint Ave. The entrance has a black wood door and brick facade facing Rockbridge St. Street parking is available, and there are parking lots beside the building and in front of Symbol apartments.

Every visit starts with a conversation about what the client is hoping for. The studio is a calm, one-on-one space that feels cozy and unhurried, so clients can take their time. Lash appointments ask for clean lashes with no makeup, and brow visits ask for brows without makeup. Before a Korean lash lift, clients are asked to skip mascara and remove any lash glue. Waxing works best when hair is about a grain of rice long, and clients are asked to let it grow two weeks when possible.

Lash extensions can be bonded with UV technology or with regular lash glue on request, in Classic, Hybrid, Volume, Mega Volume and Anime styles, and fills are offered. The Korean lash lift curls natural lashes evenly from root to tip without extensions, with results stated to last 6-8 weeks, and a lift with tint is available. Brow services cover lamination, tint, wax and shaping, planned around symmetry, the client's natural growth pattern and a defined shape.
