Smiling Lash Lounge has operated since 2017 and says it has completed over 10,000 lash services. The studio gives its priorities as quality over volume, personalized lash design, ongoing skill refinement and a comfortable, client-centered visit.
Extension options run from classic one-to-one sets using silk, faux mink or flat cashmere extensions, to hybrid sets that mix individual and volume extensions. Volume sets use handmade ultra-fine fans on each natural lash, while mega volume applies very thin extensions to individual lashes. Genuine mink sets use mink lashes applied one at a time. Fills are scheduled by style, with classic fills suggested every two weeks, hybrid fills after two or three weeks, and mega volume fills every two to three weeks.
For clients who prefer not to wear extensions, the studio offers a lash lift, sometimes called a lash perm, which curls natural lashes, and a lash lift with tint that also darkens them. Brow lamination and tinting lays brow hair flat and straight by removing curl.
Bridal clients can book a lash trial at least three to four weeks before the wedding and apply their wedding lashes two to three days before the event. Bridal lashes typically last three to four weeks before a fill is needed. The studio advises against mascara with extensions and recommends oil-free products near the lash adhesive.
Clients come from Woodridge and surrounding suburbs, including Naperville, Downers Grove, Lisle and Bolingbrook, and the studio says it welcomes visitors from nearby suburbs. It is about a ten-minute drive from downtown Naperville and Centennial Beach. The salon is open Monday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and is closed Sundays. Clients can call or text.
Each set is shaped around the client's eye shape, the condition of their natural lashes and their personal style. Technicians work with a strong emphasis on correct method and secure placement, aiming to keep natural lashes in good condition for years to come.
