Acne work is a main focus. Each plan is tailored to the client's skin, and home care is treated as a central part of the program. Acne clients can start with a 45-minute virtual consultation, a shorter 30-minute virtual check-in, or an in-person acne consultation. The fee for the in-person consultation can be applied as a $50 credit toward products bought at that visit or toward a same-day treatment.
The virtual acne program begins with an online application that a licensed esthetician reviews. If approved, a required virtual start visit follows. The Acne Solution Program, also called Acne Bootcamp, is six treatments spaced two weeks apart over three months. The studio says the program is designed to clear skin in three to four months, depending on acne type and commitment, and it does not promise overnight results.
Clients who are on Accutane need to be off it for one month before scheduling an acne consultation or appointment. Clients using vitamin A, Differin, RetinA, Tazorac, EpiDuo or adapalene should stop them two weeks before an appointment.
The studio uses Face Reality skincare products, which it states are cruelty free. Products may be returned within 30 days for a refund if no more than half has been used. Bundles and kits must be returned complete, and their individual items cannot be returned separately.
Acne treatments are tailored to each client's skin, with home care built into the plan as a central element.
