Skin Junkee 25 Main Street

Skin Junkee is a studio in North Reading run by owner Jessica Lavers, a licensed esthetician. The main location is at 133 Main Street Unit 5, and a second location operates inside Love at Lash at 25 Main Street Unit 5. The studio describes itself as offering the latest innovations in beauty and skincare.

The menu is broad. Facials range from a basic 60-minute treatment and a 50-minute teen facial to dermaplaning versions, microdermabrasion, ultrasonic treatments, Oxygen Rx with LED, Glo2Facial in three options, Rezenerate NanoFacial, and a Glass Skin Facial that starts at $199. Chemical peels include a no-downtime option using Linder Health peels. Japanese Head Spa sessions come in 60- and 75-minute versions, and two-person head spa bookings are offered on Fridays and Saturdays in the same room. Brows and lashes cover brow consultations, tinting, lamination, lash tints, lash lifts and a combined lash lift and tint. Waxing uses vegan, hypoallergenic hard wax and covers the face, body and intimate areas. The Vajacial is designed to exfoliate and nourish the intimate area and upper thigh, including to help with ingrown hairs. Oncology Facials are offered to people undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment, priced by consultation and approved before booking.

Bookings are made through the Skin Junkee page on Glossgenius. New clients booking the Spiced Pumpkin Mocha Facial or the Glass Skin Facial pay a deposit, and two-person head spa bookings carry a $10 deposit for new clients. A 25% cancellation fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval required before the appointment. Waxing is not performed for clients currently using Retin-A, Renova or Accutane.

Facial products come from Circadia, which are also available to buy at appointments. Individual providers work on their own booking pages as well as through the studio.
