Skin Deep

Skin Deep aims to pair professional, results-focused treatments with a relaxing visit. The studio describes its work as more than a standard facial or a quick medical spa service.

Each visit begins with time spent assessing the skin and learning the client's goals, and a treatment plan is built from that. Customized facials are tailored on the day of treatment to the client's skin needs, and the studio recommends a monthly facial to maintain the benefits. The One Facial includes dermaplaning and an ultrasonic pore cleansing.

The acne program starts with a $40 consultation that includes a skin analysis, serum tolerance testing, and progress photos. Treatments are scheduled every two weeks until the skin clears, using an enzyme treatment or a mild chemical peel with extractions, and clients receive a home care routine and ongoing monitoring. The salon states the program has a 95% success rate when followed exactly, and says clearing typically takes about three months, or five to six months for severe cases. Clients who are clear or nearly clear can add dermaplaning for a higher per-treatment price.

Peels range from a light peel with dermaplaning, which uses superficial and blended peels, to a deeper TCA peel that the studio says peels for three to five days. The Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peel is offered for one treatment or as a two-treatment package, with about one week of downtime according to the salon. Hydrofacials are available with dermaplaning, and the hydrofirming facial combines a hydrofacial with radiofrequency. The studio recommends four to six hydrofirming treatments two weeks apart, then monthly. Skin tags, milia, and other imperfections can be treated with a Thermoclear radiofrequency device in 30- or 60-minute sessions.
