SKIN by Hanne Powers is owned by Hanne Powers, a skin care specialist who opened her first spa in Denmark in 2000. Between 2000 and 2010 she owned several spas in the Copenhagen area, and she also owned Go Beauty, a Danish beauty magazine. The Annapolis spa works by appointment only.

Treatments center on the Osmosis Infusion, a non-peel facial customized to each client's skin needs. The mix is prepared fresh in the treatment room and applied with a micro channeling device. According to the business, the Osmosis Infusion can address sun damage, wrinkles, sagging, dull skin, sensitive skin, breakouts and severe dryness. The business also says its active ingredients stay in the skin for four days and that collagen production is promoted for up to 30 days.

The Glass Skin Facial pairs the Osmosis Infusion with DMK enzyme therapy, following DMK's remove, rebuild, protect and maintain concept. The business says it involves no downtime and gives immediate lifting and brightening. At 135 minutes it is a longer visit, and clients need to be regulars who have had an Osmosis Infusion or an enzyme treatment beforehand, or book after a consultation.

The shop carries hand-selected lines from Amazing Space and Beaute Pacifique. The salon states that it is the only stockist of Amazing Space Natureceutical products in the United States. According to the company, these products contain no parabens, petroleum, synthetic perfume or colorants, are made and tested in Denmark, are not tested on animals, and include more than 120 active ingredients.
