Skin By Cassie was started in 2019 and is run by owner and esthetician Cassie Morrissey. The studio is in Unit E of the La Mirada building on Gregory Lane in Pleasant Hill, and the lot offers free parking.

The menu covers facials, peels, waxing, lash and brow services, body treatments, and add-ons that can be combined with most treatments. Facials range from a teen-focused treatment and a customized signature facial to a dermaplaning-based mini facial, a hydro-dermabrasion option and an oxygen treatment. Peels include a chemical peel priced by level and a triple-layer peel that uses fruit enzymes, lactic acid and salicylic acid, with at-home care from Lira Clinical. Gift cards are sold through the booking page, and appointment length can shift with the card value.

The studio is open Monday from 9 AM to 3 PM, Tuesday from 10 AM to 5:30 PM, Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM; it is closed Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Cancellations or reschedules need 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations or no-shows are charged a 30% fee. Clients who have cold, flu or Covid symptoms are asked to contact the owner to reschedule.

Each visit pairs in-studio treatment with a recommended at-home regimen, using quality skincare products.
