Electrolysis is central to the business and is offered three ways: galvanic, which is the oldest and slowest method, thermolysis, which is the fastest and uses alternating current to produce heat, and a blend of the two. The method chosen depends on health history, the results a client wants and hair type. Treatment is offered for all skin colors and hair types on any area except inside the nose and ear canal. Sessions are priced by hands-on time, from $45 for 20 minutes to $145 for 110 minutes, and other lengths can be arranged for $35 per additional 30 minutes. Appointments are booked in 30-minute to one-hour blocks that leave room for cleanup, payment and questions. The number of sessions needed depends on how much hair there is, growth cycles, the size of the area and the reason for the growth.

The menu also includes a range of facials, from a customizable signature facial to microdermabrasion, a hydrotherapy facial, microcurrent, an acne and deep cleansing facial, and an anti-aging facial. Laser and advanced services include IPL for pigmentation, a fractional laser, radiofrequency microneedling, and microneedling with exosomes, including a scalp version aimed at hair regrowth. Appointments are booked by calling or texting 725-333-4352, and other questions are handled by text. The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Skin Be does not bill insurance companies. It is an out-of-network provider, so clients pay directly and submit invoices to their insurer. Some insurers may cover medically necessary electrolysis with prior authorization and a doctor's referral, but coverage is not guaranteed. The business says Nevada Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna have documented approval for electrolysis. Before electrolysis, clients are asked to drink plenty of water, avoid tanning for 24 hours, and skip heavy scents or lotions.
