Simply Sarah Jane is a mobile hair and makeup service based in Rockwall County, Texas. The team travels to the location the client chooses, and work is split between bridal services and formal events.

Bridal work covers the bride, the bridal party, mothers, junior bridesmaids and flower girls. Bridal hair and bridal makeup previews are held at a local salon in Rockwall on Mondays through Thursdays and include a consultation for a personalized wedding hairstyle. Complimentary consultations are offered for bridal services, and a $600 service minimum applies. An additional artist can be added for the day at $110 each, depending on the services and timing. Clients are advised to book six to nine months before the wedding, or as soon as possible to secure a date. A trial is advised for bookings made three to four months out.

Formal event services include hairstyling tailored to each client, with options such as updos, half-up styles, braids and over-the-shoulder looks, done in the salon. Makeup for formal events includes false lashes. A lighter styling and makeup option is available for children aged 12 and under.

To book, clients first complete the contact form and then talk through their event. A service contract and a deposit invoice follow. The date is held once both the contract and the $100 deposit have been received, and that deposit is non-refundable. Travel charges are starting at $60, with $0.66 added for each mile when a location is more than 60 miles round trip from the lead stylist. Say Grace Farms, Hidden Creek, The Pearl, Under the Wildwood and The Springs Rockwall involve no travel charge. On-location events are scheduled Thursday through Sunday. The office is open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and messages sent outside those hours receive a reply on the next business day.
