About

Shungo Care pairs medical wellness services with aesthetic treatments under one roof in Schererville. The health side includes medical weight loss management, men's and women's hormone replacement therapy, and wellness exams, including work physicals, DOT physicals, and school and sports physicals. The aesthetic side covers facials, injectables, PRP treatments, body contouring, and skin treatments such as peels and microneedling.

Medical weight loss management is described as including bloodwork, medication selection, nutrition and exercise planning, and ongoing check-ins with a provider. The business notes that insurance is said to cover blood tests for weight loss, while coverage for weight-loss medication depends on the plan and often requires prior authorization.

The IV menu includes IV hydration, IV vitamin therapy, and NAD+ by injection or IV infusion. Named IV blends include drips aimed at anxiety and hangover relief, vitamin blends for PMS relief, B-Lean, energy, and immunity.

The facial menu includes HydraFacial, an oxygen facial, an RF facial, and photodynamic therapy. Injectable options include neuromodulators, dermal fillers, Kybella and PDO threads. PRP services are offered as a PRP facial, PRP facelift, PRP breast lift and PRP hair restoration, and the business describes its PRP Vampire Procedures as trademarked.

Every aesthetic service requires a consultation before the procedure, and same-day procedures are not guaranteed. Clients can pay through financing offered via Cherry. Pricing is shown to members of the business's rewards program. Chemical peels and enzyme peels are offered to ages 16 and older with parental consent.

Presents health and wellness care and aesthetic treatments as one practice, with a consultation before any aesthetic procedure. The stated mission is helping clients feel confident and rejuvenated in their own skin, and the business says it uses only the best products and equipment.
