Shevbraids

Shevbraids operates as a private salon in Round Rock and is the work of its founder, Shevona Roberts, who started it in 2021. The business is run under the Shevbraids name, and its gift card page lists the operating company as Shevbraids LLC. It serves women, men and children, and the salon describes its booking experience as luxury braiding with a personal touch.

Braiding is a core offering. Knotless braids start at $320 and include a wash, blow-dry, a CZAR LUXE scalp oil massage and a mousse finish; price and time depend on length and size, and a takedown is booked as a separate add-on. Goddess braids with wash and blow-dry start at $320 and combine knotless braids with curly ends. Human curly hair for those is not included in the price, so clients either bring their own or add it for $300. Kids' knotless braids for ages 5 to 11 are $220 and take about three hours and twenty minutes.

Locs and twists are the other main area. Starter locs begin at $150 and are parted and installed by comb coils, two-strand twists or palm rolling, with a deep cleanse, scalp oiling and an optional light style finish. Interlocking maintenance is priced by length and density: $200 for basic short to medium hair, $360 for over four inches or high-density hair, and $400 for mid-back length and up or very full locs. It includes a deep cleanse, scalp prep, root maintenance and a light oil finish, and is recommended every six to eight weeks. A loc re-twist is $180 and takes two hours, with shampoo and styling available as add-ons. A two-strand twist natural style is also $180 and takes two hours.

Booking and purchasing terms: new clients pay a 50% deposit, and completed services are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Gift cards come in $5, $10, $20 and $50 amounts or a custom amount, and group gift cards are available. CZAR LUXE products are also sold at Round Rock Beauty Supply and La Dawn's in Georgetown. Online product sales are final, in-stock orders ship within one to three business days, and damaged or incorrect orders must be reported within three days of delivery with a photo.

The goal is an inviting atmosphere where clients leave feeling appreciated, looked after and self-assured.
