ShearLuck Salon was founded by hairstylists and has served the Delray Beach community for over a decade. The team is led in part by co-owners Carol Cook and Jeff Attebury, who both work behind the chair.

Stylists begin each visit by learning what the client wants and needs, then build a customized plan around it. The salon describes its stylists as known for precision color and personal service, and as keeping up with current trends.

The space is warm and welcoming, with comfortable chairs and calm background music. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm, Thursday 10 am to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday 10 am to 6 pm, and the salon is closed Sunday and Monday. Color is a major part of the menu, with highlights and lowlights, single process color, balayage and ombre, and color correction. Cutting and styling cover haircuts, blowouts, updos and special occasion styling, and extensions. Treatments include deep conditioning, keratin treatment and scalp treatments, and the salon also offers perms and straightening.

Extensions are a notable specialty. The salon sells extensions under the Bonita Brazilian Hair Extensions brand, founded by Carol Cook, which uses ethically sourced products. The salon says its extension method is patent pending. An Unlimited Root Club membership covers ongoing root touch-ups for members.
