Shear Pro moved to Loft 09 at Ovations Salon Suites in Galleria DFW after previously operating at 111 W Davis St in Dallas. The salon's focus is men's grooming, which it describes as more precise than a standard haircut, though it also offers women's hair, children's cuts, family appointments and some extras.

Every visit begins with a consultation, which is free. Appointments run one hour with one client per chair, so the schedule is built around individual service rather than high volume. Men's hair services start at $20 and include a clipper or scissor cut, a hair wash, a hot towel with essential oils, and a neck cleanup with a razor, with a style at the end available as an option. Men's grooming add-ons include beard detail, head shaves, hot-towel straight-razor shaves, beard color and grey blending, and beard architecture.

Women can book layered or trimmed cuts, blowouts, gray coverage using gloss, all-over color (lightened or not), full or partial highlights, balayage, and toning for blonde hair. Children's haircuts are available at every age for $40, booked as a 45-minute visit. Additional services include brow, nose, ear, and full-face waxing, plus dermaplaning.
