Walk-ins are welcome, though appointments are strongly suggested for color, perms, styles and haircuts. First-time color, all-over color, accent foils, babylights, balayage, ombre and color melting cannot be booked online and need a phone call. Clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early. Long hair carries an extra charge on all services, and gratuities are not included in service prices.
Booking requires a valid credit card. A 50% booking fee on the estimated service applies to chemical services, bridal parties and special occasion styles such as proms. Same-day cancellations need at least 4 hours' notice. Clients more than 10 minutes late without notice pay a $20 late fee, and clients more than 15 minutes late forfeit the appointment and pay a $50 rescheduling fee. A no-show is charged the full booked service to the card on file.
The salon accepts debit and ATM cards, Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover, but not personal checks. Shear Express gift cards are the only gift cards accepted, and gift certificates are sold for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, employees and business clients. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Aims to provide salon services at a reasonable price, with individual attention and good value for each client, and puts continuing education first so its stylists keep growing their skills.
