The brand was created in 2012 and works out of a private salon suite on South Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach. Its stated aim is to be a comfortable place where clients can arrive as they are.

Braiding is the core of the menu. Options range from natural braids without designs and intricate braids to knotless and Boho box braids, Fulani braids, and versions with added hair. Starting prices vary with length and braid size, and small braids add $150. Men's box braids are also offered. Hair must be washed and free of products and oils before the appointment, and clients who need previous braids removed should book the matching service so enough time is reserved.

Other offerings include fades combined with braids, haircuts for men and children, and creative hair color. The gentlemen's service covers a haircut, beard shape-up, hot towel shave and a facial with massage, and takes about an hour or more. Traveling appointments and house calls are arranged through a written agreement and deposit.

Clients book by text or email, as phone calls are not accepted. Clients may send style photos before booking, and can send a photo to check whether their hair is long enough to braid. Services over $150 require a non-refundable deposit by Zelle, Apple Cash or PayPal. Clients may not bring extra guests, and those 15 or more minutes late without contacting the salon may be asked to reschedule.

The salon also sells hand-made botanical scalp oils, made to order. Root Revival and Root Revival 2 are priced at $25 each, contain no extra chemicals or preservatives, and have a shelf life of six months. The salon is open Monday and Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and is closed Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

The goal is a comfortable, welcoming room where clients can simply show up as themselves.

Works from a private salon suite with limited space, so guests are not allowed to bring extras.
