Sharkey's Cuts for Kids

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids was founded by Linda and Scott Sharkey. The first salon opened on October 1, 2002, with the second and third following in 2004. The first franchise was sold in the US in 2005, and salons have since opened in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Middle East.

Each visit is planned around the child. Every children's haircut is all-inclusive and covers a consultation, a wash, the cut, and styling. Kids pick their own seat from a police cruiser, a fire engine, a Mickey Mouse racer, a Lightning McQueen race car with Disney+ on screen, or a Frozen Jeep or similar fun car. Older boys and girls can instead choose a gaming station, where Xbox One runs on 40-inch screens, or watch sports or concerts while they get their cut. An online tool helps parents build a custom social narrative or choose a template to prepare a child for the visit.
