The salon aims to make the haircut fun for children while keeping parents comfortable. Kids can pick a seat shaped like a police cruiser, a Barbie Jeep, a Lightning McQueen race car or a Mini Cooper while they get their cut, and can watch cartoons or Netflix during the appointment. Xbox stations are available for children. A social narrative tool helps children who feel anxious or are sensitive to sensory input get ready for a haircut. Parents can wait in a private lounge.
Boys' Haircuts ($34) include a shampoo, cut, blow-dry, a balloon and a lollipop. Child's First Haircut Experience ($40) includes a certificate, a lock of hair to keep and a photo. Girls' Haircuts are also offered. Parents' Haircut is available as a cut or as a wash and style in the private lounge.
Styling options include braids such as French braids and fishtails, curl styles that come with a mini manicure and a choice of glamour ring in the Tween Lounge, and up-dos including ballet buns, wedding-style up-dos and sleek ponytails for long hair. Day of Beauty brings hair, nails and makeup together in a private Tween Lounge for up to one hour.
Booking policies ask clients to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead, and late cancellations or no-shows may be charged a fee. Parents or guardians must consent to services for minors and supervise children in the salon. Parents should share any medical conditions, allergies or sensitivities before the appointment. Payment is accepted by cash, credit or debit card and other methods shown at checkout.
