The Loc Garden grew out of the earlier Locsbyasiaa business and is run by its owner, Asiaa, a loctician specialist. The business calls its work luxury loc care and says it has served more than 200 clients across Dallas Fort Worth.
Every new client begins with a New Client Consultation, priced at $25, which must be booked before any other service. During that visit Asiaa looks at the loc history, goals and hair needs, then builds a loc care plan. Most clients return for a retwist every four to six weeks, and the consultation sets that schedule.
Services are grouped by loc length, including ear-length, collar-bone, mid-back and Lil Locs. Starter locs take the longest, while a retwist is the shortest visit in most groups.
Add-ons such as loc detox, pipe cleaners, loc sprinkles and partial Marley hair are added at booking. Garden Buddies pricing covers two or more people, with parent-and-child and friend pairings. Clients are asked to follow the home routine given at each appointment, which includes shampooing twice a week and covering hair every night.
Returning clients can book starting at 10 PM Central on the 22nd of every month. A VIP membership at $50 a month makes booking possible outside that standard window, and VIP members can book from the 5th through the 9th. A $25 deposit is collected when an appointment is booked, and the remaining balance is paid at the visit.
Plans are built around each client's loc history, goals and hair needs, with direct feedback on what the hair needs. The business treats each appointment as time that belongs to the client and expects care to continue at home between visits.
Visits take place in a private suite.
