Shape Nail Lounge is a nail salon on East Carson Street (3219 E Carson St) in Lakewood, California. The salon sees nail work as a way for clients to express their own style, and treats shape, detail and finish as an art form. The interior pairs a contemporary lounge atmosphere with a calmer, more restful mood. It opens 9 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, and 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday.

The menu starts with manicures and pedicures. The Classic Manicure covers nail shaping, cuticle care and a hand massage. Soft Glow, Vibe Touch and Lumiere Dream build on that with warm soaks, sugar scrubs, mask wraps and paraffin wax, with massages running from 5 minutes to 9 minutes; the Lumiere Dream adds CBD ointment and a warm candle. Pedicures are offered in tiers. Mini Moment includes a sugar scrub, pumice exfoliation and a 3-minute massage. Yuugata Matcha uses a matcha soak, fine grain scrub, callus treatment, a green tea mask and a 6-minute massage. Café Crème adds a coffee soak, espresso scrub, paraffin wax and an 8-minute massage. Muse Cashmere uses a milk and honey soak, orange honey sugar scrub, silken mask, paraffin wax, a hot stone and a 15-minute massage with a warm candle. The top pedicure, Shape CBD, adds a CBD soak, smoothing masks, paraffin wax, a hot stone, a 25-minute massage and CBD ointment.

Gel and enhancement options cover several systems. BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) soft gel is a soak-off builder gel applied as an overlay on natural nails to strengthen weak or brittle nails. Gel-X by Apres, Gel Builder and Tap Gel are offered as fill-ins or full sets, and dipping powder and acrylic are also available. Regular and gel color changes are priced separately for hands and toes, and BIAB color changes include cuticle trim. Nail art is priced by level, including French tip, deep or V French tip, and ombre, chrome or cat eye designs. The salon describes its technicians as shape specialists. Maintenance done more than 3 weeks after the last set, or repairs needed on 5 or more nails, is treated as a new set. A nail repair done within five days of the original appointment carries a reduced repair fee. Nail removal is $10 with a service and $15 and up without one. Gel-X refills are available one time only, depending on the condition of the nails.

Beyond nails, the salon offers lash extensions in classic, hybrid or wetset, volume, wispy and mega volume styles, as full sets or mini and quick refills. Mini and quick refills are for current clients who return within 8 days of their last appointment. Lash lifts take about one hour, lash stains about 30 minutes, brow lamination about one hour and brow stains about 45 minutes. Waxing covers the face, brows, underarms, legs, bikini, back and chest. A separate kid menu covers color changes and mani-pedi sets for ages 11 and under.

Free consultations are available for every service. Changes or cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment changed or moved to another time. All services are final and cannot be refunded. Before a service, clients should tell the team about any allergies, medical conditions or injuries, and the salon may turn down a service.
