A second location opened on the second floor of East 12th Street in Union Square on May 1, 2018, roughly a fifteen-minute walk uptown from the flagship, and a salon in Greenwich, Connecticut extends the business beyond Manhattan. Some stylists work at more than one location, so clients are asked to check each location's schedule when booking. The salon was featured in Chopsticks NY, a free New York City magazine about Japanese culture, in September 2015.

The salon describes its philosophy as centered on personalized hair care and long-term planning, with the aim of finding what works for each client's hair over time. The New York salons are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 7pm with last appointments at 6pm and are closed Mondays. The Greenwich salon is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm with last appointments at 4pm and is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. A 15-minute grace period applies to late arrivals, after which an appointment may be treated as a no-show and charged.
Products are sold at the salon, and the salon says the products it uses are chosen for their commitment to hair health and quality. Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours are charged 50 percent of the booked appointment, and those within 12 hours are charged in full. Prices exclude tax and are subject to change. Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted, but gratuities cannot be charged to a card.
