For many braid and install services the hair is included in the price. Crochet braids are the exception, since clients bring their own hair. Listed appointment times range from about an hour for men's braids to around six hours for waist-length box braids.
Several services need some preparation. Many braid and install services ask clients to arrive with hair washed and blown out, or to add a wash to the booking. Bundles that are to be colored need to be brought in two days before the install.
Younger clients are served as well, with braids for ages 5 to 10 and knotless braids for ages 7 to 12. A surcharge applies to kids' knotless braids when the hair is past the shoulders.
