About

Serenity Spa is located in Suite 151 at 14816 Physicians Lane in Rockville, and it is open every day from 10 AM to 9 PM. Clients can call 301-330-8099 to book or to ask about a custom package built around their needs and budget.

The spa's massage work is handled by a team of massage therapists, and every therapist is licensed in Maryland. The menu includes prenatal massage for clients from 18 weeks of pregnancy, sports massage, general pain management massage, Swedish, deep tissue, acupressure and reflexology. Body massages are offered in 1-hour, 75-minute, 90-minute and 2-hour lengths.

Several add-ons can be combined with a massage, including aroma therapy, deep muscle work, medical balm, a sugar foot scrub, an upper back hot stone treatment, cupping, scraping and an ear candle. Hot stones and essential oil are included free with certain 1-hour and 90-minute body massages. Sauna sessions are available on their own in 45-minute and 50-minute couple formats, or added to a massage.

For couples, the spa offers a shared room with a couple sauna, a couples massage and combinations that pair a body massage with a scalp and head massage. Scalp and head massage can also be booked alone, and some short- and long-hair sessions include a facial at no added charge.

The spa describes its massage as the best available, and describes its body rejuvenation treatment as the ultimate in body rejuvenation. These are the business's own claims. Memberships offer 5 hours for $330 or 10 hours for $650, valid for one year, and the hours can be used for body or foot massage in 1-hour, 90-minute or 2-hour sessions until they run out.

Massage is delivered by a team of licensed therapists, with custom packages arranged by phone to suit each client.
