Serene Royale

Serene Royale is a Houston studio centered on hair extensions and wig installation, with Steph O as owner. Work covers several methods, from closure and frontal wigs to full tape, hybrid tape and traditional sew-ins, along with styling for curls, updos and similar looks.

Booking runs on a monthly schedule. Reservations open on the 15th of each month at noon Central time, and appointments must be booked at least 24 hours ahead. Before booking, clients show a valid government-issued ID or passport that shows only their full name and photo. A non-refundable deposit reserves the appointment and goes toward the total, and the balance can be paid in cash, Zelle or card. Afterpay is also accepted, with the full amount approved before the visit and the payments split interest-free. The studio is open Wednesday morning until mid-afternoon and Thursday through Saturday, and is closed Sunday through Tuesday.

Preparation matters for wigs and extensions. Wig units need a clear video of the lace, the front hairline knots and the inside of the unit, sent 48 hours before the appointment. Extensions and lace should be washed with clarifying shampoo and no conditioner, then fully dry before the visit. Used hair is taken only as full wefts, not choppy short pieces. Lace must be 100% HD and is bleached, toned and customized during the appointment. Color customization requests are due at least 7 business days before the reservation. Only full lace frontals are accepted, and T-shaped, 13x1 and partial lace fronts, 4x4 closures, and silver or gold banded bundles and store pack bundles are not.

Policies cover timing and changes. There is a 15-minute grace period, and later arrivals may need to reschedule or cancel. Clients are asked not to book on the same day as important events such as photoshoots. One reschedule is allowed up to 48 hours before the appointment. Same-day cancellations are charged 50% of the total service fee, and cancellations within 24 hours carry the same 50% charge. No-call, no-shows, including refusing service on the day, are charged 65%. Weddings and other special bookings go through the inquiry form, with replies within 24 to 48 business hours.
