Sennin Studio describes itself as a new private salon. Every appointment is one on one, with the aim of removing distractions so each client can relax and get full attention from the artist.

Color is the center of the work. Services range from a gloss-focused refresh of existing color to full custom color from roots to ends, plus blonding built from techniques such as baby lights, teasy lights, flamboyage, foilayage and balayage. Creative color work is available as well, using freehand painting, color melting and imprinting. Creative color usually comes after blonding sessions and requires a consultation and deposit before booking.

New clients start with a virtual consultation before booking. Submitting the consultation form does not reserve a time, so clients should wait for a reply before booking an appointment. Booking-page hours are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm, and closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Beyond the salon chair, the studio offers hair styling parties and makeup parties on location for individuals and groups of up to four, including girls' nights, wedding parties, and photo or video shoots. On-location bookings require a consultation and a price quoted for the event, and half-day and full-day rates are available for a limited set of services. Breathwork sessions, individual and group, are held separately at East Side Art House on Governor Street.
