The color menu covers retouches, toning, full color, highlights, babylights, balayage, ombre and dimensional color. Color correction starts with a paid consultation. Blowout options range from a glam blowout and event styling to updos and a longer Signature Selah Blowout VIP. That 75-minute visit includes a scalp detox, scalp massage, a hydrating mask, a hot towel and a blowout of your choice, with complimentary drinks and snacks. Cuts include a signature layered cut and a package for naturally curly hair that begins with a curl analysis and consultation.
Extensions are a focus. The salon's own SELAH Hair line is made from double-drawn hair, according to the salon, and hand-tied extensions are offered in one and two row installations after a consultation.
Practical details: the salon is open Monday 9 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 9 AM to 7 PM, and Friday 9 AM to 6 PM, and is closed Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice, and shorter notice carries a fee of half the service price. No-shows are charged the full service price, and clients more than 15 minutes late are asked to reschedule with a late fee. All services and retail purchases are final sale. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment.
Extensions are installed in-salon by the stylist who sold them, using techniques the salon describes as deliberate.
