The aim is natural-looking custom human hair wigs that help clients feel like themselves again, in place of generic-looking pieces. The salon works with women experiencing hair loss from alopecia, chemotherapy or thinning, as well as women who want more volume or a new look.

A visit begins with a 40-minute in-person consultation covering the client's needs, daily life, comfort and the look they want, with several premium lace top options tried on in the studio. Once a base piece is chosen from an uncut collection, a customization plan is made and the wig is cut, colored and refined to the client's face shape, skin tone and style. A follow-up appointment covers fit, wearing and care, and a follow-up customization visit is included free with a new wig purchase. Virtual consultations are also available for clients who live farther away, and out-of-state clients start with a video chat.

Lace top human hair wigs range from 2,300 to 4,500 dollars, depending on length and customization, with the 14 inch at 2,300 dollars rising to 3,050 dollars for 24 inch. Customization is included in the price, and every new purchase comes with a complimentary cut and color and a three-month warranty on manufacturing defects. A 50 percent deposit starts customization, with the balance due on receipt. Taxes are not included in listed prices, and virtual buyers cover shipping. Custom orders are possible for unusual color, texture or cap size requirements, and custom wigs usually take two to eight weeks.

The salon can format an invoice with the information an insurer asks for when a wig is prescribed for medical hair loss. Insurers may reimburse cranial prostheses, but coverage is not guaranteed, so clients should confirm eligibility with their insurer.
