About

Scott Harris, MD is a plastic surgery practice in Plano, Texas. The surgeon founded and partners in an accredited ambulatory surgery center, and the practice runs an on-site surgery center that it describes as fully accredited. Patients come from Plano, Frisco, Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding communities.

A visit starts online. Patients can request a consultation, complete a patient information form and review pre-surgical requirement forms before a first appointment. At the initial consultation the surgeon reviews the procedure, expected results and recovery, and talks through the desired look, medical history, skin laxity and tissue quality, and recovery preferences. Each surgical plan is built individually. Before surgery, patients need medical clearance and pre-operative testing, which includes lab work and an EKG, and a surgery deposit can be paid through an online form.

The practice describes its surgical approach as virtually drainless. Drainless tummy tucks close potential fluid spaces with internal sutures instead of drains, drainless face and neck lifts rely on internal methods, and drainless breast techniques are used when appropriate, depending on bleeding control and internal closure. A drainless version of the Mommy Makeover is also available. For lip enhancement, an endonasal lip lift uses discreet incisions and internal closure.

Surgical services cover body contouring such as abdominoplasty, a body lift, a Brazilian buttlift using the patient's own fat, and post bariatric body contouring after significant weight loss. Facial work includes face lifts performed under general or twilight anesthesia, neck and cheek lifts, brow lifts, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty and otoplasty. Non-surgical options include Botox for creases and wrinkles, dermal fillers to replace facial volume, thread lifts for the face and laser skin resurfacing as an alternative. Several financing options are available, including pay-over-time financing through Cherry, with some 0% APR options subject to eligibility.

Builds an individualized surgical plan for each patient, with an emphasis on clear and honest communication, natural-looking outcomes and safety. Patients can combine surgical and non-surgical treatments into a customized plan.
