A visit usually begins with a free consultation, held in person or by video, to talk through hair loss goals, a treatment plan, pricing and timeline. The exact quote is given at that consultation, based on the area to be covered and the density wanted. Each session runs one to three hours and takes place in a private, one-on-one treatment room.
Treatments are organized by concern. Long-hair SMP for thinning hair is done without cutting the hair, working section by section, and is offered to men and women; women generally need four to six sessions to see a visible difference. Hairline work ranges from crisp urban lineups to soft natural lines and more receded mature hairlines, with an eight-point symmetrical system used to map the design and mockups previewed before treatment starts. SMP can also be combined with FUT hair transplants to add density and texture, and SMP for alopecia is planned conservatively for patchy or total hair loss.
Scar camouflage addresses FUT and FUE hair transplant scars. It does not remove scar tissue; the site says it typically conceals about 80 to 90 percent of a scar. Candidates should have healed scars at least 12 months old that are flat or slightly raised, and treatment usually takes two to three sessions spaced about 7 to 10 days apart. The women's line is designed for the part line, frontal hairline, crown, temples and edges, can be done with curly, straight or coily hair, and tones are tested to match skin tones from Fitzpatrick I to VI.
The pigment is described as designed to fade naturally without discoloration. SMP is considered permanent, but the pigment may wear off over time depending on hair products, sun exposure and skin type, so touch-ups may be needed every few years. After sessions the scalp should not be washed for three to four days, sun exposure should be limited, and swimming, saunas and intense sweaty exercise should be avoided between treatments. Each treatment is planned around the individual's head shape, hairline structure and pattern of hair loss, with conservative planning for alopecia.
