SB Beauty was started in 2011 by Sharon Becker, who leads its makeup work. The team is made up of wedding makeup and hair artists, and its experience includes production work, New York Fashion Week, red carpets and high-end salons. The team serves brides, grooms and couples across the globe, and its press features include Web Vibes, MV Island Weddings, Smashing the Glass, Love Inc, Elle Wedding, Sparrow and Geraldine Magazine.

The team has worked at destinations including Martha's Vineyard, Montauk, Tarrytown, Tulum, Vermont, Vail and Negril, so destination weddings are a regular part of the work. The studio describes its service as an elevated experience for clients with refined tastes.

The bridal package is listed under Signature Services as luxury bridal makeup and hair. It covers a lead makeup artist and a lead hairstylist for the bride and her three closest attendants, up to 8 hours of on-location services including touch-ups, and unlimited access to the dedicated bridal beauty team. Makeup and hair can be arranged for as many people as the client chooses, and lashes are applied for everyone, with clip-in extension application available, especially for the bride. The team also recommends beauty treatments in the days leading up to the wedding and builds a beauty suite timeline with the wedding planner, updating it for last-minute changes.

Bookings can be made a year or more ahead with a signed agreement and a 50% deposit. Before a bridal preview is booked, the artists are confirmed as available for the wedding day or weekend. Previews take place at the studio on evenings and select Saturdays, usually 2 to 4 months before the event. A preview is recommended but not required, and clients may bring a photo of their dress, inspiration images and any hair accessories. To prepare for a preview, clients should arrive with clean, dry hair and stop using retinols 3 days beforehand. Brow tweezing, waxing or threading should be done no closer than four days before the wedding, and a light glow facial without extractions is suggested about a week out. Foundation is color-matched to the client's skin tone, so a spray tan does not need to match the face.
