Rogue House was founded by Jamielynn De Leon, who opened the salon in the East Village. It is marking its tenth year in 2026. The salon is designed as a lounge-style space where conversation moves easily between guests and stylists.

About

The salon is known for an editorial approach to hair. The business describes itself as a chosen salon for New York Fashion Week and says its styling has appeared on a Times Square billboard and that its creative work has been seen on runways at global fashion weeks. Every visit starts with a personalized consultation covering the client's hair, daily routine and goals. Services are paced so each appointment has enough time, and prices are base prices that move with the stylist's experience and the length, texture and density of the hair. Thicker, longer or more textured hair may need extra time, which is reflected in the haircut price.

Color work includes Color Maintenance for tone and gloss between major appointments, Single Process Color, Dimensional Color, Custom Blonding and Color Transformation for larger or corrective changes. Color services include a natural texture blow dry, and finish or texture changes cost extra and should be requested at booking. Color correction usually takes more than one service.

Clients can also add restorative treatments built with K18, Olaplex, B3, Malibu C and conditioning steps, or smoothing treatments (Brazilian or Keratin) aimed at frizz and shine. VIP Reserve bundles combine curated services with complimentary beverages. Extensions are offered as tape-in, clip-in, keratin and micro or fusion applications, and keratin, tape-in and clip-in installations are arranged by consultation.

The salon pairs an editorial point of view with personalized consultations, and it paces appointments so each client has time with their stylist.
