Cut and finish includes a consultation, shampoo massage, conditioner and finish. The team aims to create a look suited to each client's individuality, features, hair texture and skin tone, with colours blended to complement skin tone. Some locations offer a free type consultation for clients interested in styling suited to their type and in expressive colour.
Colour is a large part of the menu, covering balayage, highlights and lowlights, toners, colour touch-ups, colour correction, perms and relaxers, and bleach and tone. Colour placement services include contemporary colour, face framing and comb on colour. A professional blow-dry is required after colour, perm or treatment services when no haircut is booked, and reception can arrange one with a stylist.
The Academy lists courses in barbering, short-term cut and colour, cut and colour, and specialist subjects in several cities, and offers model appointments at lower prices. Apprenticeships to become a hairdresser are also offered, with training in Sassoon cutting and colour techniques.
