The salon's stated goal is tailoring beauty and style to each client, in a friendly atmosphere that still feels polished. According to the salon, its hair work is expert-level, and it presents itself as an upbeat, encouraging place to work that puts weight on ongoing education and balance between work and home life. Clients new to the salon who are planning a dramatic transformation are invited to book a consultation first. Colour appointments include a shampoo and blow-dry. Ironing the entire head straight or curling it all over adds time to the appointment and costs more. Haircuts, styling and treatments are available to all clients regardless of gender.

Curly hair is a major focus. The Ouidad certified cut and style uses the Carve and Slice cutting method and the Rake and Shake styling method, and stylists teach night-time options for curls. Recommended cut intervals are every 5 to 6 weeks for short curly hair, every 6 to 8 weeks for medium, and every 2 to 4 months for long. Clients with curly hair are asked to arrive with hair at least a day past washing and normally styled. Extensions include Hair Dreams, Micro Links, Hand Tied, Tape Ins and Halo Couture. Hair needs to be at least shoulder length for extensions to add length naturally, and a consultation determines what suits each client. Hair should be colored before extensions go in, and extensions can be colored darker but not lighter. Mid-back length is treated as extra long, takes more time, costs extra and requires a consultation before booking.

Balayage and foil services are priced by how much regrowth needs covering, from a few foils around the hairline to full-head work. Perms need a consultation first for new clients, and a free consultation carries a $30 no-show or late-cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made by calling or texting and receiving a response.

The salon builds each look around the individual, with consultations recommended before a major change and stylists trained for the particular needs of curly hair.
