The work centers on blended color, highlights and tailored cuts. Color options include root touch-ups in a solid base shade, Blend The Gray, which keeps some gray visible using light and dark tones, and Soft Blend Highlights, which blend into the ends with no harsh lines. Haircuts are matched to hair texture and density, and the Haircut Retreat adds Turkish steam, a custom scalp or gloss treatment and a tailored style. Every service includes an in-depth consultation, custom color placement, a relaxing lather, a personalized styling lesson and guidance on aftercare products. The salon describes its consultation process as innovative and says it uses only high-quality color products.

Visits can be booked online through the Book Now button. New guests can use a consultation form if they are unsure which service to choose, and a waitlist lets guests pick preferred days and times. New guests receive a welcome packet with directions and parking details before the first appointment, and after a first visit a follow-up email recaps the visit with product recommendations and home care tips. Reminders go out 72 hours ahead. Prices are starting points that vary by hair length, thickness, texture, product amount and technique, and the final cost is confirmed at consultation. Cancellations or changes need at least 48 hours' notice; later cancellations carry a 50 dollar re-booking fee and missed appointments a 100 dollar fee, which must be paid before another appointment can be booked.

Getting there: complimentary parking is available directly in front of the building, and BelRed Station on the 2 Line light rail is about a 10 to 12 minute walk away. Guests text the mobile number on their booking confirmation to get entry instructions. Hours are Monday 1 pm to 6 pm and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10 am to 5 pm, closed Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and contactless payments are accepted, along with cash in exact change. Venmo, Zelle and PayPal are not accepted, and tips can be paid by card or cash.

Each guest starts with a consultation on hair history, goals, lifestyle and upkeep, then receives a simple plan for color, cut and style that is adjusted seasonally. The salon says it selects sustainable, clean styling and aftercare products.

The space is a hushed, private suite where the lights are lowered while treatments are underway and while color is processing.
