Sandra Makeup & Hair Artistry is a home-based studio in Manassas, Virginia, and most of the work is wedding makeup and hair. Services reach clients across Virginia, Maryland and D.C., and the artist travels to the wedding. Wedding packages cover brides, bridesmaids, mothers and flower girls under 10.

Brides can book a bridal trial at the Manassas studio or on location for an added fee, usually on weekdays with one Sunday a month offered. Wedding services include a bridal trial, a wedding day schedule and lashes if wanted. A wedding package includes a mini bridal touch-up kit, and the bride also receives a mini lip touch-up kit.

Booking starts with a custom quote, followed by a consultation call or emailed questions. Once a client is ready to book, they sign the contract and pay a non-refundable 25% retainer to hold the date, then schedule the trial. The remaining balance is due on the wedding day. Saturday weddings booked three or more months ahead carry service minimums, and an extra artist or assistant is recommended for 8 or more total services.

The portfolio covers bridal, quinceañera, headshot, commercial, before-and-after and boudoir work. Gift certificates are available, and their balance can be checked on the booking page. Travel is charged per artist from the 20110 area in tiers, starting at $30 for up to 20 minutes, and start times before 7:30am add $50 per hour.

Wedding work is planned around a timeline, with a trial held before the big day.
