Carrie founded Salon De Bellagio in January 2013, after years working at Signature Salon Studios in Mesa. She is the owner and works as the master colorist and hair designer.
The salon occupies a corner space at El Dorado Lakes in Gilbert. Clients can look out over the lake and the first tee of the golf course, and the room is finished in green and bamboo walls, honey-colored cabinets and black fixtures.
Several services begin with a consultation. Keratin treatments, hair extensions and corrective color all require one, and Carrie customizes services for clients who book a no-cost consultation. A free gift is offered with a 15-minute consultation.
The boutique carries handcrafted jewelry from a local artist, including Hugo and Covenant pieces, along with Sydney Love purses. Shampoos, conditioners and styling products are sold at the salon, and gift certificates are available with a minimum value of $20.
The salon says it selected only the very best product lines and that its service goes beyond what new clients have experienced elsewhere. A referral program offers a free like-kind service for every three friends who book as new clients.
Services are tailored to each client after a no-cost consultation, and the salon says it chooses its product lines carefully.
