The salon says its goal is an experience that goes beyond what guests expect, built on talent, hospitality, ambience and service. It calls itself a clean air salon that works to eliminate toxic fumes, and it describes itself as a certified Green Circle Salon affiliated with GreenCircle recycling. It uses and sells Oribe, Kevin Murphy and Eufora products, and says its haircut and blowout products are clean and high-performance. Gift cards are sold on the website.
The salon is open Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and some services take place in an outdoor area. Color formulas are custom-blended for each client. Color pricing is set by the individual stylist and can change with the stylist's expertise, the condition of the hair and the look wanted. Color services don't include a haircut or blowout unless requested at booking. Before checkout, the front section is blown out so the color can be checked.
Color appointments need at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, and haircuts need at least 24 hours. Late cancellations, reschedules and no-shows are charged the full service total, though one last-minute change is allowed for sickness or a family emergency. A credit card is requested at booking but not charged, and is used only to enforce the cancellation policy. Reminders go out 72 hours ahead. Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and Venmo are accepted, and tips cannot be added to credit cards. Salon services are not refunded, but a one-time adjustment at no extra charge is available within 7 business days if a guest is not satisfied, with the same stylist, when the guest speaks up before leaving. Parents and guardians are asked to supervise children closely because of hot irons and sharp scissors.
