The team says its stylists have years of training in coloring, cutting, treatments and extensions. Salon South runs an ongoing education program with weekly classes for stylists. The team is made up of an owner, a salon manager, educators, and stylists at levels one through three, along with an assistant and co-stylist.

Services fall into three groups: cuts, color and extras. Cuts cover ladies cuts with blowouts, dry cuts, bang trims, men's cuts, and girls and boys cuts. Color includes full, partial and half highlights, balayage, bleach and tone, single process, new growth and all-over blonding. Extras include face framing foils, brow tint, Brazilian blowouts, conditioning treatments, formal styling, blowouts with curls and thermal curls. Extensions require a consultation appointment before booking, and prices or quotes are not given over text or phone. Wedding hair and makeup are requested through a wedding appointment form.

To reserve any service, clients need a valid credit card on file. The card is not charged at booking. Cancellations made within 24 hours, and no-shows, are charged half the total of the booked services. Cancellations can be made by calling or texting 470-915-4247. Clients who arrive more than fifteen minutes late may have their appointment rescheduled by the stylist. Online bookers should choose the exact service they want, since stylists only allot time for the service booked. Extra guests are not allowed in the salon, though clients under 18 may be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Clients who are unhappy with a cut or color can call or text within 7 days for adjustments within reason, but refunds are not given. Product returns and refunds are not offered, and deposits for extensions or weddings are not refunded. Because color and chemicals may touch clothing, the salon is not liable for stained clothing or purses.

The salon is open Tuesday from 10am to 8pm, Wednesday from 10am to 7pm, Thursday from 10am to 8pm, Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. It is closed on Mondays and Sundays.

The salon aims to go above and beyond for clients, supported by a team that trains together through weekly classes and ongoing education.
